A community opportunity provided through funding from Prince George's County Council - Domestic Violence Funding Program
 
CAFY as one of the 12 agencies who received funds from Prince George's County Council's Funds, committed to ending domestic violence and abuse in the County. With those funds, CAFY pledged to strengthen the call to action and collaborate with other providers to educate and raise awareness within our communities, at schools, residences, and in faith-based organizations and provide Holistic Support for all DV Survivors.
 
Community Voices is CAFY's quarterly event held to help bridge the gap between the community and local non-profits providers. It gives residents a chance to hear exactly what the local non-profits doing, know where to go for help, what to expect from those resources. Community Voices is conducted in a panel style format to allow for a community conversation and a question and answer period. This is a free event but you must register.

 REMINDER:  CAFY's Annual Unity in the Community will be held on April 13, 2019 @10-3PM at the Palmer Park Community Center. 7720 Barlow Road; Landover, MD  20785.  Providers, Vendors, Legal Clinic, Mental Health Assessments; Financial Planning as well as games for the children and all family members.  There will be a Step Off Competition for young, old and all ages in-between, honoring this year's national theme - Honoring Our Past. Creating Hope for the Future.  Join us for a Step face off with both young and old performers.
