We are pleased to announce The Training Source, Inc.’s Inaugural Career Fair under the theme “Economic Mobility for All!” which is our corporate Vision. The Career Fair, which will bring together local employers, experienced professionals and entry-level talented individuals under one roof, is scheduled to take place on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Kentland Community Center (2413 Pinebrook Road, Landover, MD 20785). The U.S. Census will be the anchor employer recruiting for thousands of positions in support of Census 2020.

The Training Source’s founder and executive director, E. Kim Rhim, was recently named Prince George’s County Nonprofit Leader of the Year by the Greater Washington Community Foundation and earlier this year, she was given a Prince George’s Nonprofit Pride award by County Executive Angela Alsobrooks for her outstanding work in workforce development and the nonprofit sector. Among our award-winning community services and programs, The Training Source provides comprehensive job training for job seekers, with industry-recognized certifications (hospitality, healthcare and office & professional services) and job placement assistance. We also work with employers to fill vacant positions with trained and motivated candidates and to train existing staff to be more effective and efficient. Our mission is to provide education, training and services that promote positive economic mobility.

Our inaugural Career Fair will give current and past trainees, as well as the broader professional job seeker community, the opportunity to meet face-to-face with employers and businesses that are currently looking to fill seasonal and full-time positions with eager and qualified professionals.
