Job Description

The main purpose of this position is to handle all clerical and administrative work.
To ensure that all insurance claims have been submitted to the office manager in a timely fashion.

To maintain the scheduling of appointments, missed appointments and/or client cancellations.

To handle and ensure the confidentiality of client's paperwork.

To maintain communication with the therapist's on their client's arrivals as well as informing the psychiatrist of any medication that his or her client is taking.

To be comfortable using a PMS/EHR system for insurance claims.

To inform the office manager when supplies are low.

To maintain professionalism while client's are in the receptionist area and provide a comfortable environment for the client's.

Education: High School Diploma (minimum)

Stellar communication skills, both written and verbal

Minimal medical billing experience

Proficient in computer operations such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook


Previous clerical position           

Bachelor's Degree or higher           

Fluent in multiple languages           

Previous experience in a healthcare environment
